New - Hub Temperature Monitoring Record

The below is the latest Hub Temperature Monitoring Record and tips for how and where the information is to be recorded. The minimum requirement for 1 per day has been removed as hot wheel events are a key concern for our business and our customers and should be completed regularly. We are waiting on the pre-printed books to be sent, however copies are available from your Supervisor in the interim

Link to an old news article relating to a wheel fire at Ti Tree in the Northern Territory, reflects the importance of checking temperature when stopping for rest breaks https://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-11-19/ammonium-nitrate-truck-catches-fire-on-stuart-highway-in-nt/5901878

Welcome Nathan and Kerry

Good afternoon all,

I am pleased to announce we have two new faces starting in the depot this week, Nathan Harris and Kerry Rennie. Nathan will be working back to back with Sonja as an Operations Supervisor. Kerry is joining the business in a Compliance role but will still have a big part in Operations.

Both Kerry and Nathan bring a wealth of SSAN Transport knowledge to the business and will be welcome additions to the team. Please make them feel welcome.

Thanks, Kelsey

RE: Payslips being emailed

Hi all,

The Payroll team is working through some side by side testing as well as some tax matters that must be resolved before this change from ADP to iChris takes place.  The changing of payroll systems is what will generate the payslips being emailed

Therefore the timing of the changes I going to be pushed back by a few weeks, so not from the week beginning 1 April.

We will advise a new change date when its announced from the Payroll team.

Thanks
